BeautiControl Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Tupperware Brands Corporation, formerly Tupperware Corporation, is an American multinational multi-level marketing company. Its main focus is kitchen and household products, and it is particularly known for its line of plastic containers for food storage and preparation. By extension, plastic food containers in general, regardless of brand, are often referred to as Tupperware.

Angie mentioned in a review, "Of a set of 3 Round heat and eats I received 2 lids. Contacted the consultant who provided a link to a form to be emailed. Sent that off and after yet another long wait received a replacement for the missing lid. It's rectangle!!! So sent yet another form and weeks have passed and have heard nothing and still have a set of 3 containers with only 2 lids. Now why have a consultant if they don't do anything to help when things go wrong. She made a great deal of commission from my party and did nothing to earn it and just tells me to deal with it online myself. I may as well just buy from Tupperware website without a consultant... If only that was an option. Sad to say another once great company has turned to rubbish. Not the quality product, warranty or customer service it once was. Very disappointed and won't be buying again"

Sales & Marketing (Former Employee) says

"This is a very hard company to review as it no longer exists and I stopped working there a very long time before it shut down. They were nice but obviously didn't do a good job"

Senior Trainer (Former Employee) says

"I worked with 2000 sales consultants over 20 years. My team was outstanding. My day started with communicating information from heardquarters. *Calls to consultants - educating each consultant, sales techniques, overcoming objections, product information, how to use, who should use the product, motivating and encouraging each consultant. *Created education emails, videos and sent out to team. *Set up Training in various cities. *Created Zoom events to educate and motivate sales force. *Analyzed promotions, incentives, productivity and how to increase each consultants sales to reach sales goals. *What I learned - I learned from each team mate each day, they would inspire me. *Our Management Team - were outstanding to work with always motivating, analyzing goals, figures and more, loved BeautiControl, however our parent company, closed our doors. *Hardest part of my job, having enough hours in a day to get to see & talk with each person who needed my time. *Most enjoyable part of my job - helping team achieve their goals."

Web Application Developer (Former Employee) says

"You can meet with nice people, but the management are aweful. Tupperware send a president to manage the company every 2-3 years and ruined the company."

Training Manager (Former Employee) says

"Too much work and not enough staff. Made for unbalanced work/life.Revolving door on upper management multiple times a year became difficult to keep up with.Hardest part of the job was being my own call center while having other management functions. The people you work with is the most enjoyable part of the job."

customer sales rep (Former Employee) says

"company is infested with nepotism, employees are afraid to voice discontent with lower management due to reprisal from management, tenare for those who are not rightly conected is about 3 to 5 years, then they are force to quit or terminated for some minor reason."

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"I enjoyed working for BeautiControl and the other sales associates I knew. Sadly, they closed in August 2017 or I would still be working for them and would have given them a much better rating.Work for yourself and make your own hoursnon-stable income"

Independent Consultant (Former Employee) says

"BeautiControl is an in home business selling skincare and spa products. You are your own boss and how much you make varies. You can work as much and as little as you want."

Certified Independent Sales/Skin Care Consultant (Former Employee) says

"Beauticontrol had wonderful skin care products. I joined the pyramid independent skin care industry for my personal benefits, not to become a sales mogel. This was not, nor intended to be my primary source of income; I taught full time. This was a side job, to work as much or as little as I wanted to receive discounts on products I liked and used often as a means to reduce the cost of the products. I hosted parties and sold BC products because I believed in the products and the benefits they have on one's skin condition; I didn't believe in the pyramid recruitment scheme, so I didn't enlist in that philosophy. I just believed in providing good products to women who were in search of bettering the health of their skin care. Beauticontrol is no longer in business; they sold out to another business. I did not pursue continuing the skin care independent consultation business when the transition occured.wonderful skin care productspyramid scheme of recruitment in order to excel one's financial status"

Director Services Representative (Current Employee) says

"I really like working here because of the great people I got to work with and assist over the phone. Unfortunately due to the company closing I am seeking employment elsewhere."

Beauty Consultant (Current Employee) says

"I love the BeautiControl products but because you sell it from home you are the only thing holding yourself back! The products are amazing and I swear by them but I haven't been able to sell enough. I bought over $2,000 worth of product but haven't been getting many spas, that's on me though. IT IS NOT A PYRAMID! You can't make commission off of people you have signed on unless you sell a certain amount of $ that month. This keeps you honest and if you make your quota then you can get that commission.Work from home selling products you will love. Great gifts if you sell like crazy (car give aways, trips, accessories, etc.)!No real way to move up in the company, unless you have tons of people to sell to its too expensive to keep up."

Marketing Analyst (Former Employee) says

"As my career has really just begun in the corporate atmosphere BeautiControl was a good place to start. A typical day at work would start with maintenance work and communication within the Merchandising, Brand, and Creative Teams. I learned a lot about the importance of communication, e-Commerce, and the digital aspects of marketing. The people you work with are generally the better part of the job. I got along well with most of my co-workers and socializing with them while putting out some great work. Overall the hardest part of the job was dealing with the uneasiness of upper-management. Many decisions were done on a whim and created more work for all the teams in Marketing. This would come down at soon as the night before material needed to go to print or to be posted online (via the company's website). Ultimately leading to many late nights for every team in Marketing. The people I worked with, my team, and the pay rateMany last minute decisions and changes by upper-management"

Senior Executive Director (Former Employee) says

"The best part of being a part of BeautiControl was the management within the workforce and everything I learned from them over the years. I was able to grow others because of what I learned. Income potential, trips, cars and other awards were unlimited and by creating a winning team everyone could reap the benefits.Income, trips, cars and jewelryhours and the avenue the company chose which eventually put them out of business"

Application Developer/Project Lead (Former Employee) says

"Good experience. Friendly environment. Very good culturefree lunches, cosmeticsnothing"

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"Pay structure was great. Support could have been better from management. But seeing as the company is now out of business, I guess it doesn't matter."

SECRETARY (Former Employee) says

"On a typical day I would file paperwork and answer the phone. I would sometimes take phone orders but mostly I was there as a secretary. I learned to be very patient and professional. I worked one on one with my Supervisor. There was no hard part of the job honestly. The most enjoyable was that there was no hard part of the job. I picked up on everything quickly and my job wasn't stressful all the time.first dibs on productsshort hours"

Vice President of Business Development (Former Employee) says

"Each day at Beauticontrol was unique and challenging. There were leadership issues and challenges both internally and in the Field. All of which made the job enjoyable. The best part of the job was having the opportunity to work with wonderful individuals. It was a pleasure working with bright, driven, caring, fun people, some of whom were salaried and others independent business owners. The company had a family feel to it. I can truly say I enjoyed every day I went into work.Challenging and rewarding workFinancial business constraints."
